Seattle Strings, Round 2

Just found out that I’ll be heading back up to Seattle in a couple weeks to record a few more cues for X-Ray Dog.  Looking forward to that, in addition to a couple upcoming local brass recording sessions for the tracks we laid down in Seattle earlier this month.

Seattle String Session Wrapped

Just returned from recording strings for X-Ray Dog at Studio X in downtown Seattle.  Recording brass next week and then looking forward to the final mix.

Studio News, TMZ Cues and Trailer Cues

It’s been a long, long process, but I am finally just about finished with a tremendous upgrade to my studio involving lots of new software, new gear, and five new computers networked together to run it all.  In short, my palette has just been significantly expanded.  I will now be able to work on highly [...]

“Andheri” Wins Again, and More

“Andheri” won the Grand Jury Prize at the San Francisco Shorts fest a couple of weekends ago.

I recently completed two suspense/action tracks for X-Ray Dog that are going into mastering this week, including “Simmer,” which is featured on my site’s web player.  Alongside my track “Last Chance,” which was released on the “Night Hounds” disc in January, and another two tracks I completed in early August, I now have a total [...]

Starz Original Series “Party Down,” and more

2009 has been a terrific year so far.  I had my first X-Ray Dog track come out in January on their “Night Hounds” disc.   “Andheri” has been very successful, having been picked up for international distribution by Premium Films and placements at many film festivals.  “A Work of Art” was picked up at several festivals [...]

Moving from 2008 to 2009: Festivals and More

Both “Andheri” and “A Work of Art” are official selections of Method Fest 2009.  Sushrut Jain (”Andheri” director) just returned from the Clermont-Ferrand festival in France.  Andheri played each day of the week-long festival to a theater packed with over 1000 festival-goers.  It was well-received with crowds forming lines for every showing and answering the [...]
